Dear experts :

When I open a project ( I copied by another person) i have i message:

"Access to the project is currently not allowed" 

What problem ?. Thank everybody :)

I deleted (Recycle Bin also deleted) ProjectOpened file and re start wincc but it didnt work.

Today when I revoved ProjectOpened file. This error is sloved, but "the configure server not available".

Regarding the error message "the configure server not available" Follow these instructions:

1- Close WinCC completely and all its tools ( use end processes from windows task manager to make sure that all tools have been exit).
2- delete "<Project name>.dcf" (you could find it in the project folder).
3- Restart WinCC.
4- "<Project name>.dcf" is then automatically created with the right configured server data.

If your problem solved, Let me know.

Hi, I also have the same problem to open the project. (error: Acees to the project is currently not allowed). I have made what you said but the error continue to persist.

If someone has an idea please help me.

same error also in with me in wincc scada 7.4

Access to the project is currently not allow is due to ProjectOpened.lck fail when you copy Wincc Project from other computer but you dont close properly.  

Please delete this file from project folder and reopen wincc project your problem will be solved.

I design a project on my laptop (wincc explorer) and i decide to copy my wincc project to Main pc for project...but it has corrently access tot allowed...what is the solution for this..?

I tried what you said regarding this problem, but the same problem still persists.

can you give a solution for this?

use  file Reset_WinCC in Siemens\WinCC\bin directory

try migrate your project to wincc7 then migrate it to wincc7.4

first install wincc 7 migrate your project then install wincc7.4 and migrate your project again to 7.4

Please delete the <ProjectOpened.lck> file from the project file

delete <project name>.lck file in the project folder. .lck file is a lock file.

In the project path, delete all files named ProjectOpened.lck (there may be several files with different numbers, such as ProjectOpened(2).lck).
