Hi, I used function "Determine LOGO" and get following result in attachment.

It should be OK, but I have experienced a problem:

Yesterday I was remotely connected to LOGO (BM display) via phone browser through its own web server and after some time I lost the connection, while I was browsing through the LOGO prepared screens.

The LOGO screen on browser went blank (just white, without any letters/numbers) and LOGO seems to lost the program. They send me a picture of real LOGO screen (attachment).

I am worried now. Did it lost the program? Why, if it isn't too big? Because of online browsing?

I need remote access because of my support.

I first tried to find out if the program is too big or something. I am giving you all the information I can. 

I am asking for your opinion, why it lost the connection and the program (I presume there is no program in it, based on picture).

A hacker - uau, thats even more disturbing... Can I find out somehow what it was?

P.S.:

I see that layout memory is the closest to the limit (24176 of 30000).

Is is possible that online browsing beats the limit (or it is fixed)?

Because I noticed, that online browsing does take some resources, but I dont know which ones. This would be my first guess.

 Did you download program via DDNS..?

You can try transfer program back to PC if it is possible or not.

If connection not success, you need to findout network problem first.

Sorry, I don`t know what you mean. As I said, I am not very strong on internet protocols and stuff.

What does abbreviation "LOGO CMR" mean?

I used to get problem Login to Web Server with port 8080. It been used sometime and some time not work.

But after changed to 8000 of Logo it working good.

Tell us on which point exactly you use the 8000.

 I connect Logosoft with port forwarding to port 8080 of Logo.

I connect Webserver with port forwarding to port 8000 of Logo.

I'm sorry, but that doesn't make sense to me.

The manual says otherwise.

Port 8000 is not mentioned anywhere.

For LogoSoft cannection, no problem with 8080.

So, the problem is still, the same: LOGO is going to STOP by itself - several times a week. I was suspecting my program and ixo65 suspected hacker attacks because of unprotected internet connection.

After Googling this problem, I have found this topic from year 2016:

- I have FW V1.08.03  6ED1052-1MD00-0BA8 LOGO! 12/24RCE

So, I think I found a reason for this  harmful behaviour of my LOGO.

Why Siemens even let the continuous sell of this model, if they knew it is faulty? Why didn't they demand for all units to be returned from stores to factory, before customers buy them.?

I have bought it on 5.12.2018 from some German EBAY store. I didn't use it for some time, and when I did, even later started to use it with network (a few months ago)

I must replace it, but I cant just pull it out and send it to factory or somewhere, since it is controlling heating system and "winter is coming". I need a new one first and replace them the same day.

What should I do now? Who do I contact, Siemens or this Ebay store (if they even exist on Ebay any more...). I presume Siemens in my country wont help me, since I have bought it on Ebay from different country or...?

I am kind of angry because of this - I have lost a lot of time and nerves trying to find a fault in my program. I hope I wont loose some more nerves in warranty and returning procedure....

Siemens: I don`t think this is very professional of you.

You have to understand, that not everyone of us are experts. I think, very little number of us are.

That means:

- i had no idea, that I am buying "outdated LOGO". I was buying A NEW (not previously used) electronic equpment, not a cup of yogurt, where the expiring date is clearly marked. How should I know, that I am buying an outdatet LOGO, if I bought the first one in my life? Would you know, in my place? I don`t think so. Do you think that people are aware, which generation of LOGO are buying? And that they are reading some hidden notices about generations somewhere? Nobody does. We are amateurs or DIYers, not professionals..

About the name of the topic: I was trying to explain the problem in the best way I could (I even put a three topic names in the headline because I didn't know what was the reason). If I knew what was the problem, I wouldn't start the topic at first place. And as I said, I am no expert. Anyway -  I did asked two or three times, if it is possible, that the reason is in network, that was my sentences:

So, even that I am no expert, I had quite a good hunch what could be the problem. Perhaps you should ask me for a FW, since you know about the problem as well...

But this isn't the problem NOW. That part is ended for me.

The problem NOW is: I have a faulty piece of equipment and Siemens knew that. It doesn't matter where or when I bought it. It is faulty and as such it must be replaced.

And a Siemens should be thankful, that won`t put a legal charges against them. What if someone get killed because of their faulty equipment?
