ASTECH Posts: 45 Rating: (0)	Hallo Wizard, That was it! Indeed , in the Control Panel --> Set PG/PC interface was different. One thing, I could not see it because settings of my view were "On category"so I had to switch into the classic view, otherwise i would probably look at that. Second thing -I am suprised that old, good PG/PC interface thatcomes from classic STEP7has to do with the communication when testin V12 project. I am not familiar with the structure of Simatic software,it seems that the classic settings have influence on theTIA Portal V12.But that was it, definitely. Thanks a lot!

ASTECH Posts: 45 Rating: (0)	Ricardo, You were right too,I just could not imagine that old fashion window - settings of PG/PC interface ( wchich appears whenI change my view in Control Panel ) taken from classic STEP7 hava to do with processing of communication data in TIA Portal V12, thought that those are completely apart things.

ASTECH Posts: 45 Rating: (0)	Hallo all, It has been a long time ago, but the problem is back. Since a couple of months I cannot simulate my PLC project (that works fine with PLCSIM) together with my HMI project (whichI can also simulate). Again the same, no connection with each other. This time I searched in many places, my experience TIA Portal is also bigger with, but I really cannot what could it be this time. In the beginning of the problems I could not simulate large projects (of projects with some features, but unfortunately I do not know for sure what these features are), some other, smaller projects, I could simulate as well. Since some time I cannot simulate at all, even most simple projects, althougt the PC/PG Settings are OK,I assume (I followed again strictly the advices of Wizard from previous posts). My only idea is that the software does not work anymore and has to be re-installed. But perhaps there is something I could do, some detail I could check? Iwill try to compare the settings with a different laptop where everything works fine.

ASTECH Posts: 45 Rating: (0)	Dear K!ke, Of course there are many changes made on my PC in the meanwhile. To mention only Windows, anti-virus updates, updates of many other non-Siemens apications. Also from Siemens, I have installed some things, butIcannot rememberafter which change the problem occured. I only know that I had some problems with larger project, the simulator did not want to run properly (as a solutionI had to, for instance, load the program into simulated CPU and do STOP and then RUN, then it worked). But at certain moment I could not simulate HMI - PLC communicationat all, as I describe in the previous post. I am not sure where did it happen. It is simple, I can live with it, if there are no obvious things I can check I willtry to reinstall the software and check it it helps. Anyway I am going to use a new laptop soon, so the installation wil be necessary anyway.
