thanks for your documents! Unfortunately I configure the pre-installed OS before I see your sharing. And I miss some configurations, such as IP. Now I want to re-configure the pre-installed OS, how can I do that?

i am having some problems with node-red in my IOT2050. The thing is that when i introduce the command "mel-setup" and i go to "software" and i select node-red to install it, when i apply my changes, nothing happens and i still have not installed node-red.

And i would say that is not an internet problem.

Edit again: More findings.

Edit. Deleted my first post which was incorrect.

Checked again:

My system is on sdcard.
When I plug in the service stick mel-setup starts automatically and the option to install software is given.
I go to software and there you have to navigate to the desired software, press RETURN and
select to install or remove.
After done and apply changes the software is installed.

But wait:
You miss Node-Red? According to your screenshot this package is marked with an I.
So I think it is already installed but not started. It does not so automatically. According
to the manual you'd have to have a startup script described there.
What also puzzles me is that nodejs isn't there because this is installed by default at my system.

More findings:
This method only works if you did a
(sudo) apt update
after first boot. Software install according to page 22 does NOT work if you have the IOT
connected to the internet AND set up an apt mirror.

I do not know if it works WITHOUT setting up an internet connection and using the ServiceStick
as sole software source...

In IOT2050 Setting Up Getting Started in chapter 3.1.3 there is written that user has to write Gateway if he want to configure Ethernet interface with static ip and when he leave second interface as dhcp that could be some problems. In chapter 3.4 is solution how to solve that problem. But if you write gateway as 0.0.0.0 in first configuration (chapter 3.1.3), it looks that interface will configured witout gateway and you don't need delete it manualy (chapter 3.4).

Is it possible to upgrade the Industrial OS the classic way? I mean give the installation source as the newer image file and let debian upgrade it? Or the only way is to clear the old one and install the newer via clean install? I could not find info about this topic

the imgxxx.zg file I have downloaded from the link can not be unzip in Ubuntu OS. Any other available .img files?
