Hello, The symbol 'S' (system error) usually symbolizes one or combination of the following:
Considering the error message is "PLC Process Control Failure" could be related to: ● Module errors (only for hardware controllers) ● I/O access errors (only for hardware controllers) ● Parameter assignment errors (only for hardware controllers) The error propagation could happen from the connected FbDrive block which needs to be investigated further. (tough to conclude with the current screenshot/information). However, I hope these inputs give you a direction to troubleshoot your issue. You can also refer the 'Error handling' section 2.1.6 in the manual linked here (you can also refer FbDrive's error handling from the manual) -> APL 9.0 SP3 Manual |

Hi, Are you using real hardware? If not, try setting parameter: DataXchg1 to value 16#4 of the Fbdrive block. Do this as well for all channel drivers such as readback value (Pcs7AnIn) |

Hi Oreca, Yes, FbDrive working with SE Altivar 630. Your proposal with DataXchange1 = 16#04 didn't work. |

Hi, OK, have you checked if one of the External messages is active: ExtMsg1, ExtMsg2 or ExtMsg3. One other possibility is that the readback value is outside setpoint limits. Have you checked the RbkWH_Lim and RbkWL_Lim parameters? Otherwise motor feedback or motor protection is a possibility. The Trip signal should be set to 1 which means no active trip. Sometimes because of the Profidrive framework, the trip signal should be inverted that is coming from Fbdrive. Can you share some more information like a print screen from the CFC chart containing Fbdrive and MotSpdCL block in test mode? |

Hi, I cannot see any error in your print screen, only one thing which you can try: - Insert an Or04 block and connect its output to: ATV_In_Out.On. The input of the Or04 should be connected to: M.Fwd and M.Rev. Download and check if this works...

Hi, OK, because it looked to me that the FbDrive is getting feedback that the drive is running, but in fact isn't, maybe that's why the error came. In the template (Drive) the On signal is connected to Fwd or Rev control signal from the MotSpdCL. It could be something with the hardware configuration (incompatible Profidrive telegram, incorrect GSD/GSDML, are the driver connections like PZDIn2,3, etc created automatically? |

Hi, Yes we had trouble with the Fbdrive as well handling only two telegrams. Also only Profidrive telegrams can be handled. For our application we used PPO types (Danfoss) and therefore created a custom block in SCL to handle the communication (Read in data from status word, send data to control word etc.) |
