luciferC4 Bronze Member Joined: 1/25/2006 Last visit: 6/9/2025 Posts: 257 Rating: (62)	Hi, I had problems with MP277 10" touch (with calibration of screen and "flying buttons") and Siemens performed exchange "problematical" panel with new MP277 10" touch panel. And when I tried to transfer program in new panel, appeared a alarm message that OS in panel is different with current OS in project or device type is different in configured project. Can someone tell me how can I update OS (if it possible) via Wincc flexible 2005 HF7 (via prosave- I tried but without success) or where I can find a new image file (panel have image file version 1.55 and OS is Windows CE 5.0) that is, how can I update my Wincc flexible and get possibility to adjust appropriate device and the end, transfer my configuring program to panel. I tried update with wincc flexible software: when is open this window for update OS and press button Device status, after few seconds I got information about HMI and that everything is OK. I got information about version but in part of screen where is path of image file only is grey field without information of path as button for start update OS is inactive (grey). If I press button Browse (three dot), open a new windows with location where is image file of this HMI in Prosave software. I can't get active button for update OS. It's the same when I want to do directly with Prosave software ( i can't get active button for update OS). Where I make mistake? Thank you in advance. Zoran

And when you browse you can find the right image (Mobile MP277)? So the image Path is showing the directory (it has to contain 'WinCC_flexible')? But the button OS update isn't possible to activate? What's your version of WinCC flexible? Perhaps you can download Prosave and install it: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/10347815 Best regards, Wizard

It was adjusted to /utillity/Prosave/image.... Now, I change path to Wincc flexible image folder and in that folder I find appropriate image file for all HMI and, of cource, for MP277B. The image on the device is reported as B 1.1.0.0; however, the only image available in WinCC Flex is 1.0.0.0. I checked Siemens' Support website for the appropriate .img file but was not able to find one. How can I update the device in WinCC Flex to reflect the correct device image? In your case (WinCC flexible 2005 SP1 HF7) your panel should have B1.0.0.0, this can be done with a OS update.
