i want to connect dse7420 by PLC1200 in modbus/TCP

in mb client we have to mention data register address to read 

i cant find data rgister number in dse7420 deep sea 

anybody there help?

The Operations manual for DSE 7410/7420 controllers states that the Modbus mapping (list of available registerscfor communications) must be requested from DSE, specifying the exact model of controller.

Daniel sent already good sdvice that you need look to device documentation where list of registers types, their addresses and data types are described. This is important to you. After that you need cooperate with TIA help about your block used, there is clear info how to set parametetrs correctly to have data from Server (no from Master as you've described).

But what is important in my original reply, as a first step, is that you should contact DSE and request the Modbus mapping for the exact model of controller you are working with.

Once you have studied that document and determined which registers you would need to read from the DSE controller with the S7 PLC, we should be able to help you organize the data for the MB_Client instruction.

if I could enter to this again. Something isn't clear here with your problem description. You say that you can't find relevant infos about registers. Ok so how you then now want access data from Server if you don't have registers addresses? What you've set to Client block then? Next is to have some Modbus knowledge, to this situation and cfg you need have also Server ID value (formal RTU address) and you need set it to your Client block static TAG MB_Unit_ID, this is also important parameter to have data available. Really your description is strange. look and understand that one thing is connection established to server and next one is possibility to collect data, 2 independed things. Without to know exactly registers from your Server device (documentation) is simply impossible to have data. You can try contact that device support in case.

I meant was that I have no problem programming TCP in PLC
and if I don't know the address of the dse registers,
I can't communicate. The exact status of the dse
registers is not described in any instructions.
I have a sample plc program that has already
been written and the information about dse It reads,
I will upload it. If you have any information,
please let me know how the address of the registers was chosen.

no problem with help. On other side your PDF document isn't that helpful, really not, it is only basic information about some specification but how that Modbus is implemented and what exactly cfg is required (also what you require about registers), is missing there.

So again pls, do you request some other help here? It is clear now, you can do tests very easy with that my red color data rectangles, you said that this is working from previous prj but also this can't be true actually because of different cfg right at device, who knows.

To calculate the register address, multiply the page number with 256 and then add the register offset. 256 x 4 + offset

For Oil Pressure the register address is = 1024

Coolant Temp= 1025
