Madadi Bronze Member Joined: 12/28/2016 Last visit: 11/4/2024 Posts: 435 Rating: (51)	Hi I am using Windows 10 professional 64 bit, and while installing the software WinCC V7.5 the screen giving out error message that SQL Server 2016 SP2 Standard Edition (WinCC) Setup cannot complete the installation. Here i am also attaching the screenshot of that error message. Please help me out from this problem. Thanks ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from Installation Problems: Error message says that SQL Server 2008 R2 Standard Edition SP (WinCC) Setup cannot complete the installation. Schber Member Joined: 11/19/2018 Last visit: 10/13/2022 Posts: 2 Rating: (1)	Hello, same problem here: trying to install WinCC 7.5 SP2 on a Windows 10 workstation (Version 20H2, Build 19042.630) with Xeon(R) processor W-2223 (4 cores, 8 threads). The setup stops with exactly the same error dialogue like Madadi described. The FAQs mentioned from bg2492 does not work (Unicode UTF-8 coding is not activated) or does not apply (number of cores is a power of 2). Madadi's hint is only suitable for images, I have an old-fashioned DVD. The MS SQL Server 2016 sytem configuration check is fine with my system configuration (see attachment). The only warning is due to the missing internet connection, which is not planned/possible. I would be glad about some hints to solve this issue.
