Time synchronization between Logo 8 and KP 300 HMI

studd Member Joined: 4/20/2010 Last visit: 7/31/2025 Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	Hi I have been able to program the HMI through TIA V16 to communicate with Logo 8.3 for various functions but I can not get the HMI to display the correct date and time from the Logo. I am using the date and time as a template for the HMI screens, can someone point me in the right direction to make this work?

ixo65 Grandmaster Joined: 12/18/2014 Last visit: 9/6/2025 Posts: 35929 Rating: (4498)	The LOGO! does not provide the time and date in the VM area in a format "hh: mm: ss" and "mm: dd: yyyy", but as individual variables (byte-wise). If you create individual input / output fields on the KP300 for each byte of this variable, the time and date are not only displayed, but you can also set the time and date via the KP300.
