I have an ET200S Processor with a 6ES7134-6GD01-0BA1. I am developing a load cell solution using a Rice Lake SCT-30-AN and I am using the 4-20 mA output. I have calibrated the Rice Lake Devise but the Analog card reads an overload condition regardless of the load. I have used my Fluke Multimeter that sources 4-20 mA signals and they always work correctly. When I read the Rice Lake device with the Meter in series it is emitting a 4-20 mA signal. This is a head-scratcher. One difference I have found in the spec sheets is the rice lake device says their Analog Output is 16 Bit - 65535 Divisions and the Siemens device says 4 to 20 mA is 15 bits for the 2 wire transducer. And the range is 32767 to -32768. I have tested with two different Rice Lake devices and get the same result.

Both devices have the same +24 volt supply. Both appear to be wired correctly according to both device manuals. Three different folks have checked the wiring.

Does anyone have an idea about what I am missing here in this setup?

the AI module 6ES7134-6GD01-0BA1 is compatible for the ET 200SP prozessor and the reason could be the firmware of the ET 200 SP CPU. Check the firmware version of the ET 200SP and if possible make the update. Use the link for the download:

Have you standardize and destandardize the analog values with STEP 7 (TIA Portal)?

Compile the project complete with the both instructions

• “Compile > Hardware (rebuild all)”
• “Compile > Software (rebuild all)”

And download the program again.
