Hello Abdelhadi; It seems that the IM 353-1DP has its own gsd file, different than the gsd file for the IM 153-2. https://www.vipa.com/uploads/tx_sbdownloader_new/HB140E_IM_353-1DP01_14-47.pdf In that case I do not believe that you can simply drop in the IM 153-2 in place of the Vipa coupler, without changing the Hardware configuration to change the gsd file. I suggest you ask confirmation of this from Yaskawa (Vipa) support, or if it is not possible, setup a benchtest and try it out yourself. In all cases we would be interested in knowing if this is a possibility Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |

Hello abdelhadi; It is difficult to read the picture you attached, can you provide screenshots, screencaptures instead? The messages I can decypher indicate a difference between the coniguration data of the im 153-2 and the modules found on the rack. Secifically, modules in slots 3 to 15 are declared faulty, which means that the configurator does not recognize any I/O module attached to the iM 153-2. What steps did you implement to make the IM 153-2 a replacement for your earlier module? Did you import a new gsd file, for example from this link: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/113498 Could you show us (clearly) the configuration screen that is behind the diagnostic page you attached earlier, it would be good to know what modules you have set up with the IM 153-2. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
