Hello,

I am trying to add some telegram extension to S210 but without success.

I need that extension to read actual temperature, fault code and warning code from S210.

I already do that with CU320 without any problem.. why is not possible to add free telegram extension in S210?

Is there another way to read such parameters?

Hi, 

the reason is simply that the S210 was designed to be operated as easily as possible at a SIMATIC Technology object. 

So the reason why you cannot add a free telegram is that the S210 does not have the possibilty of freely connecting any BiCos with each other (no BiCo manager included to keep things simple).

With S210 you can just add the standard extensions such as the PROFIsafe telegrams or the torque telegram 750 which can be directly used with the TO.

So how I can read fault code and warning code? With CU320 I used this parameters to visualize the corresponding alarm description on HMI.

This one uses internally acyclic reading commands to read the drive faults. I think this is what you are looking for.
