Can Cross Reference Filter for CScript Function Usage?

RSteinbrück Member Joined: 10/22/2012 Last visit: 6/20/2025 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hi all, Cross Reference GUI lets you select project objects on the left side and displays usage of these objects within other project objects. This works fine for tags (process variables) and pictures (PDL). But it seems not to work for CScript standard or project functions. I have read a lot of threads pointing to the standard header to include in CScripts that CrossRef can find tag and picture references inside CSripts. This feature already works great for me. What I want to see is, where standard or project functions are called. As an example, I created a trivial project with - single project function calling two standard functions (01) - single start picture with a buttons OnClick event calling the project function and standard functions (02 -03) But selecting the used functions in the CrossRef shows no usage (10,11). Do I expect too much or am I doing something wrong? Attachment ExampleScreenShots.zip (118 Downloads)

In V8.1 it works also in the Cross reference (sorry currently I have no V7.5 SP2 for testing by hand) Bye Murof

I just tried my example in an V8.1 trial and CrossRef found the calls to project and standard CScript functions in the picture. It still did not list calls to standard/project functions inside project functions. But as you wrote this works with the new "Project Search" feature. Very nice. Good to know about that really handy enhancement of the new WinCC release. One more reason to migrate... Regards, Reinhard
