All works fine except WinCC OPC-UA server that does not start : - Profile WinCC Server incl. Web/UX is installed (Connectivity pack server not installed) on Windows 2022 Standard - Connectivity pack licence is installed but appears not used in ALM - OPC-UA service appears in "Paused" state in Windows services No error seen in diagnose logs and OPC trace logs Thank for help! ElonksuM_SN_BN Regular Expert Joined: 5/6/2022 Last visit: 7/10/2025 Posts: 589 Rating: (123)	Hi U_75fbba62-9de9-4..., From what you say it seems a strange behavior, since it seems strange that the logs do not show any kind of error and that the license in the ALM that you indicate is marked as not in use. In this case, at first it could seem to me that There is maybe a Windows Error or Internal service error. Or maybe a certificate problem. To start with I would recommend you to renew the OPC UA Certificates on the system following this FAQ: "Create new CA certificate for OPC UA in WinCC SCADA" Please also make sure that the OPC UA Server is activated in the start-up list of the runtime settings. Best regards!

I recreated both client and serveur OPC-UA certificates and reboot: no change, OpcUaServerWinCC process still not running. Any other idea?

Situation is similar to a WinCC server with no connectivity pack license installed. But here, my license is installed and valid... David

I had a situation where I used a port that was already used and here also the Server will not start Bye Murof

I also tested my server with a demo project : OPC-UA server is running properly! So, I checked all server properties in my WinCC project but did not found any issue. I don't know what is the problem in my project... FYI, it was a project initialy developped in v8.0 and moved to 8.1 on which project migrator did not action. Finally, I decided to re-create a new WinCC project and move all data, screens, scripts etc. from original one. Now it works. Regards, David
