Hello, Just to give an update on this, I found a solution for this issue, i had to reinstall the AS again, during the installation I had issues with the PCS7 tools installation during the process, to avoid that you may need to remove the WINCC Tools using Windows Add/Removal Program, make sur you restart your computer before start the installation again. Make sure your installation is completed without any fault, it must be this way, also make sure you have enough space in the disk before start, clean unnecessary files in need. Attached is a screenshot of the PCS7 tools being installed completely. TIP: always use the package installation, do not try install program by program because it will not work for some reason, choose the PCS7 CD setup or a ISO fresh extracted, do not copy the entire extracted folder to another folder in the PC, it must be extracted direct where the installation will start, I am not sure why but I learn that's the best way to avoid installation issues. Sadly Siemens is going less detailed in their manuals, old versions use to have screenshots and images to help guide everyone, but now just text and not always clear, pay attention and do not be lazy to read the documents. here a interesting document to support you during installaiton process. https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109794377 Regards, Nick |
