Cannot enter time into IO field

de l'Afrique Joined: 7/10/2023 Last visit: 2/18/2025 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hi all, in WinCC v7.5 I have an IO filed with BoxType=I/O Field, DataFormat=Date/Time and OutputFormat="time" When I enter a time in runtime, for example 16:30:00 pressing <Enter> does not accept the time value. <Tab> exits the IO field and reverts to the previous value. Why does this not work? Are there known work arounds?

de l'Afrique Joined: 7/10/2023 Last visit: 2/18/2025 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Thank you Daniel, I was not trying to display system time, but let the user enter a time as hh:mm:ss for a tag in the S7 time format, i.e. ms from midnight. The IO field displays the time correctly. When trying to enter a value it shows a __:__:__ ___ mask and the user can enter hour, minute, second, but not ms, pressing ENTER does nothing. Pressing TAB leaves the field without changing its value. I'm sure I could implement a work-around by letting the user enter hour, minute, and second separately into internal tags and using a script to build the new S7-time, but it doesn't feel right. Any ideas? Warm greetings from Africa
