Hello all, first post!

Right now, I want to simulate my HMI, presumably through the web client as I think thats the only way? The HMI is an MTP1200 Unified Comfort so i'm not as accustomed with how to do things.

The HMI sim & web client was working previously before I had access to hardware, so I have set it up previously.

Not sure if this is relevent, but the option for simulation has been greyed out since i upgraded from TIA V18.0 to V5 for another issue i was having- could something have uninstalled in the process?

Since I have had the HMI actually downloaded to the physical HMI (as i have the hardware for both PLC and HMI with me- the HMI I have to give back) I'm wondering if theres a setting i have to change to allow for simulation again?

Any advice or things to try would be well appreciated!

If I understand it correctly, you have updated TIA Portal v18 to TIA Portal v18 upd5?

Did you also update the WinCC Unified PC Runtime to v18 upd5?  (Necessary to simulate unified comfort panels)
