Problem with SIMATIC WinCC Unified: "Error loading the screen. this can occurs if the screen does not exist".

I have a problem trying to change the HMI screen since the PLC to a new screen that I have been craeted. Next message apperars in the runtime: "Error loading the screen. this can occurs if the screen does not exist" The problem it is that if I create a botton in the HMI and give it the Event Changescreen and call to same screen it works when I pressed the buttom, but if I try to change it from the PLC this message appears. So I do not know if I am doing something wrong. Attachment Screen does not exist.png (93 Downloads)

I believe that there was a bug related to this in previous versions of Unified, so I recommend you to install the latest updates. You might find useful this thread: Problem with SIMATIC WinCC Unified: "No start screen found". Good luck!

Actually I found the error yesterday now I can call the screen by the number since the PLC let me share you more details in case this helps. I read in another post that in WinCC Unified call a screen by using the numbers is not supported any more. The code that I´ve it was developed by a Poland supplier in which it is possible to call a screen since the PLC by using a number trough the a script code. // screen selection let screenRequest = Tags("Users_ChangeScreen").Read(); if (screenRequest > 0) { let screenRequestName = HMIRuntime.Resources.TextLists("@Default.ScreenNames").Item(screenRequest).Item(HMIRuntime.Language); HMIRuntime.UI.SysFct.ChangeScreen(screenRequestName, "~/Content"); Tags("Users_ChangeScreen").Write(0); } We are using a text list with all the names of the screens and a numeric value for each text, so the scrip is reading a word variable from PLC and search this value in the text list after that if there is an screen with exactly the same text in the text list item this screen is called. Well this is how I think how is work to be honest structured text not is my best. If someone of you can help me to explain the script code I will appreciate it. However, it might be easier for future projects to use the ChangeScreenByNumber method. This would eliminate the need to keep a text list synchronized with your screen names. Kind regards Stefan
