Hello everyone,

I am currently working on a project where I am using a Unified panel for the first time. I am using TIA Portal v17 and WinCC Comfort and have, of course, downloaded the HMI Template Suite v17. However, I have a problem because the library seems to be prepared only for Comfort panels and not for Unified panels. Dragging elements or ready-made screens is impossible, and when I drag the complete HMI configuration into the project, it creates completely new devices, but I cannot change its type to Unified, only to another Comfort panel.

Does anyone have experience with this or a solution to this problem?

Unfortunately, the HMI Template Suite WinCC Unifed is currently only available for public download in V19 and V20.

This means that you are probably using the WinCC Comfort/Advanced V17 Template Suite, which is not compatible with WinCC Unified. You can try to get an archived version by creating a support request.

Or you think about an update of your engineering system, which will bring more functionality with more performance and stability, especially in the context of WinCC Unified.

Thanks for your response. I will try with support ticket first. It is not possible to upgrade my TIA at this moment so i need to work woth what i have.

i've support for v17 of Template Suite and i got the files yesterday. 

Unified is indeed different but i think with a little bit time and afford (and maybe some support from here) i will manage to learn it.
