Hello everyone,

I am attempting to migrate a Simatic S7 (STEP 7 V5.6) project to TIA Portal V17, but I'm consistently encountering errors that prevent the migration from completing successfully. I would greatly appreciate any help you can offer to resolve this issue.

Here is a screenshot of the error messages displayed in TIA Portal during the migration attempt: 

Summary of the main errors I am receiving:

• "The project to be migrated is not consistent. 'DB5' needs to be recompiled."
• "FC6: The interface of DB9 is out of date."
• "FC8: The interface of DB9 is out of date."
• "FC22: The interface of DB5 is out of date."
• "The project to be migrated is not consistent. 'S7 Program(1)' needs to be recompiled."
• "Data block 'CPU 315-2 PN/DP PID8640' cannot be migrated because 'FB611' is missing."
• "An error occurred during the migration."

Actions I have already taken in STEP 7 V5.6 (prior to attempting migration):

1. Opened the project in STEP 7 V5.6.
2. Performed a "Check Block Consistency" (no additional errors popped up).
3. Executed "Compile All" / "Generate Blocks" for the CPU (the project saved and appeared consistent afterwards).
4. Specifically compiled DB5, FC6, FC8, and FC22 individually.
5. Ensured that STEP 7 V5.6 was completely closed before attempting the migration in TIA Portal.

I would be grateful for any help, guidance, or ideas to resolve this issue. Has anyone encountered similar migration problems or knows how to deal with "missing block" errors in S7 projects during TIA Portal migration attempts?
