• No changes whatsoever have been made to the TIA-Project (Hardware & Software)

• The Box-ID of the Connection-Box was reassigned using "Safety-Operation" --> "Evaluate via PROFISAFE" Function on the panel, which completed successfully (green checkmark)

• All Settings (PROFISAFE Destination Address, IP, PROFINET device name, Box-ID) have been cross-checked with the hardware configuration in the program

• Both the "F_FB_KTP_Mobile" and "F_FB_KTP_RNG" blocks are implemented and show no life sign of the panel online (QBAD is false, no MP_DATA received, DIAG is on value 0x0001 = no connection)

• Strangely the panels have been fully working before and only image upgrade has be done. Directly after the upgrade, the emergency-stop button on the panel does not light up red anymore.

• Is there any new HSP for the mobile panel which is not listed on the Image-Update webpage?

• Do I need to update the whole TIA-Portal V17 ? Currently still on first release Update, only the images were updated

• Is there any way to diagnose the PROFISAFE Connection either in TIA-Portal or on the Panel? Seeing some kind of log messages or else?

Hi Lumpi,

I recommend using the newest image version. V17, update 5 was released last week.

You would not be able to select a higher version than 17.0.0.0 in TIA Portal, so that could not be the reason for your issues.

If the issue is not solved with update 5, please report this behavior to Siemens, creating a new support request. Thanks!
