ABN Posts: 212 Rating: (12)	hi, As you are concern about data logger, it depends on amt of data that is going to be stored. s7 300 or s7 400 along with WinCC can form one of the suitable option for data logger system. WinCC installed on Computer can store data (alarms and process values). In case if its requried to extend the storage capacity then in addition to WinCC, WinCC CAS or Storage plus can be added to configuration. Please post your exact process requirement to discuss more. ABN Posts: 212 Rating: (12)	hi, storing a data on RAM is not a simple task and it requires complex procedure. Also, amount of data which can be handled is also less. as, when data is to be stored on RAM it has to be stored along with Data and time stamp and process values and cosnumes more space for evet sample. This can be done using "AR_Send" and "AR_scan" block in s7 400. no blocks released for s7300 Hence, its advisable to store data on PC.
