MM430 USS communication

JEPietscher Posts: 2 Rating: (1)	Hi, I am commissioning a MM430 to commnicate with a S7-1200 via USS. But I didn´t succeed, as apparently I got an error message from the PLC that the drive was not responding. I verified the parameters for USS and they are ok. What I noticed is that even when set to receive the setpoint through USS COM link (P700=5, P1000=5) it is still possible to run the drive via BOP keys (start, stop, set frequency). Is it a normal behavior? Shouldn´t the BOP key commands be overriden by the USS commands? Regards

I have the following parameters set : P700 = 5 P1000 = 5 P2000 = 50.0 P2009 = 0 P2010 = 6 P2011 = 1 P2012 = 2 P2013 = 127 P2014 = 0 In the S7-1200 I have set the parameters for the USS_DRV block as drive number 1, baud rate 9600, 2 PZDs. I have done some comissionings before with the S7-200, and these settings were enough to take the drive to run with USS. Is there anything missing? Regards
