I ended up taking the whole "certified s7 programmer" track in the following couple of years, and have learned a lot there. Beside that, the manuals offered in this topic are great to use.

I would not put to much time in the 200 system, unless you have to deal with that system a lot. The 200 is about to disapear. Instead off that have a look at Tia-portal, that is the future if we want it or not. After getting to know the systems a few courses like Ton Verra mentioned is a good thing to do. It's a long way to get there, but for me i wouldn't have missed it. You never get to know every thing, and learn every day, for me that's the fun part. Offcourse reading and asking here is verry welcome and helpfull. Regards, Marcjan
