As the inverters have DC bus capacitors you must have a pre-charge circuit to limit the charging current of the capacitors on the invertersthe fisrt time you power up the system.
That why the AFE or any rectifier will have a precharge circuit.

On a commonDC bus system with multiple inverters, if you want to connect an inverter when the system is alredy power up, in this case the inverter will have to have is own precharge circuit as the DC bus voltage will be at its maximum voltage.
