I think your project folder is in Trash and you just need to clear the Trash. Open it and see if your project folder is here.

If this will not help:

Run terminal (UNIX), use "ls" command to see the contents of directory /u/user/struc427/lnk_awd. If you see here the directory with the name of your project, then you can delete it with "rm -r" command from terminal. If this will not help, try to login under root and delete this directory using terminal.
