Please be very precise when you ask a question here, there is no s5315u CPU in the Siemens families of PLCs.

If thsis is really a S5 CPU, what family and what Profibus interface are you using? Normally the software used to configure and download teh configuration to a S5 PLC is called Com Profibus, if the interface module is a IM 318C or if you are using a S5-95U's integrated Profibus port.. Do you know if there is an existing Profibus-DP configuration running presently on the S5 PLC, or would this be a new installation?
