And when i run the drive it continiously showing alarm A0502 (overcurrent) but the motor remains run condition and after few seconds the motor getting hot. Please provide the complete motor name plate details, drive MLFB & parameter list. Have you carried out motor identification? Moreover how is motor winding connection, is it delta or star?

Motor Name:KOLLMORGEN GOLDLINE XT 3phase servomotor Model: MT302A1-E2D1 Volts:230 Max RPM:4500 the motor has encoder but i am running the motor without encoder. Stall Cont: 2.44AMPS Stall Peak: 9.0AMPS The Micromaster drive model is 6se6440-2ud22-2ba1 (2.2kw) i changed few parameters. P0100=0 P0205=0 P0300=2 P0304=from motor name plate P0305=From motor name plate P0307=from motor name plate P0308=from motor name plate P03011=from motor name plate P0700=2

And regarding motor identification carried out, i don't know about this point.

Is it "induction" servo motor or synchronous servomotor (=with permanent magnets)? If it is a servo motor with permanent magnets, then running it on common MM will not give good results... MicroMaster was originally designed for induction motors. Yes, it has some settings to adopt himself also to a synchronous motor, but I do not beliewe, that it can correctly manage "synchronous servo motors with permanent magnet". MM can only supply synchronous motors in V/f mode. For proper settings of V/f mode, you need to know at least 2 important motor parameters: - nominal voltage of motor - nominal frequency of motor. Do you know a nominal frequency for your motor? You settings P1300 = 0 (V/f linear mode; according to manual, it is a correct setting for synchronous motor) supplies voltage to a motor according to those 2 parameters: Nominal Voltage is supplied to motor at nominal frequency; at frequencies below nominal, Voltage is reduced (to keep V/f factor the same); at frequencies abowe nominal, voltage is kept nominal... . I suggest you should try the following: - Reduce all boost voltages to 0 (P1310, P1311, P1312); - Try to find out nominal motor frequency (P310) it is probably much higher, as you think; try with 100Hz, and then monitor the behaveour, and so on... ; you even might succeed with that. BUT! According to nameplate data from your motor, that you stated earlier, I believe, that you have a servo motor, which needs also a fully matched closed-loop servo controller. sorry, that is my humble opinion...
