Communication between CPU 315 2PN/DP and profibus module EM277

Duyait Posts: 22 Rating: (0)	Hi all, I am doing a project that need to get data from some CPU S7-200 (Slave) to CPU 315 2PN/DP (master). The range of data I want to get is from VB 5000 to VB 5114 that means 115 bytes, but module EM277 just has 16 words input and 16 words output. It means that I can get just 32 bytes from VB 5000 to VB 5031. Do you have any ideas ? Thanks for your help!

If you read the chapter of the S7-200 Manualmentioned in this FAQ you will find the amount of Data that can be transferred... and this is surely more than 32 Byte. Best regards J_Bell

I have already read the manuel very carefully but it don't mention about how many bytes can be read.In Hardward config, I addedEM277,the address of EM277 that can be communicatewithDP master just have 16 words input/ 16 words output. When you want to use more, you must make something to communicate different buffers. So first you communicate the first 32 words, when that's done. You copy the following 32 words. Etc.
