Time Synchronisation in Server Redundant PCS7 System

kvam Member Joined: 3/9/2007 Last visit: 5/22/2008 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi!!! I am using a PCS7 system with 3 PLCs, 7 clients, 1 ES and 2 HMI (WinCC) Servers (in Redundant configuration). I have attached the network configuration for reference. This configuration is established and is working fine. But, i need some help regarding how i can achieve time synchronisation between the two servers. None of the machines have CP1613. Also i donot have an external time device. Currently i have done the following settings: 1) the CPUs are all defined as time slaves. 2) time of day synchronisation is activated on all CP443-1 3) WinCC OS is set to take the time from active WinCC server 4) WinCC Servers (tried many options but no luck?????) I have put a command in the OS to set the PLC time to the system time. All the PLCs then get synchronised to this time. Also the OS clients are getting synchronised to the connected server. But, the two servers donot get synchronised. Any clues on how i can achieve this. Regards Aditya Attachment Network_Setup.JPG (402 Downloads)
