Error : Internal error (detail: FatalError_AssigningObjectData - object type: VIEW_OCX). The problem seems to be only in this project. Does anyone have any ideas about what it means, or where I should look? I am using 2005 SP1 Build: K1.1.1.0_1.34.0.5 I am downloading Hot fix 7 now but I don't think it will help.

Cech Posts: 7 Rating: (1)	Hello, may be it will be useful for you... I had a problem with internal error to. But it was in ProTool (E3499 Internal error: no protocol data for PT instances (..,..,..) received). I sentmy project (ProTool and DB without FC and FB) to support.automation@siemens.com and they repaired it (without explaining the reason of the error). Other solution was to find the object, which was corrupted and deleted it. Then you could create a new object. But this all was on ProTool platform. After migrationto WinCC Flexible I have just never seen any internal errors.

When trying to compile a project in WinCCFlexible I get the next error shown in the attached file. Translated means: "Internal Error (detail: sub-processing Image for screen item failed - object type: VIEW_OCX) This happens in the moment of transferring the project. As a consequence, transfer is stopped and the Panel cannot be updated. Besides, we are not able to find with which screen comes the error. What kind of object is the VIEW_OCX ? Use the menu and navigate: Project/Compiler/Rebuild All... sometimes I have to run it more than once but eventually it solves the problem. Unfortunately even after saving the project with no errors, the next time I open it I get the errors back. My solution allows me to get the job done but it does not solve the problem.

krimson Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	I am getting very similar compiler erros as you guys from nowhere. This started about a week ago, and I dont know what I have done differently to make this happen. It was terrible with WinCC Flex 2005, but I upgraded to Flex 2007 and it got my compile errors from about 20 to only one. "Error : Internal error (detail: Cannot link VIEW_OCX (linking exception))." it happens on basically every program I open and try to compile/transfer. if anyone has found a solution, it would be very helpful! Thanks!
