Hi Tomy, your application is a little unusual, but here goes: Definitely, an S120 can do this as you can configure multiple external encoders and do whatever you want with them, but this could be quite costly. Possibly, a G120 (CU250S-2 with whatever comms flavour you want) could do it, the manual states that two encoder can be evaluated, but I don't know of anyone doing this for non-positioning type applications. Single axis Catalogue D31-2015 Of course, a lift or hoist MUST have an encoder feedback for itself regardless of where the setpoint comes from. Take a look at the Sinamics application site, choose your Drive function first, and as much information as you can. Alternatively, use the drive specification package called "Sizer", you need all your machine data to correctly spec a drive though. Hope that helps a little Regards, Graeme |
