Compatible? in what way? Communication? How do you want to communicate? This thread is in decentral periphery. so I guess you want to connect them over Profibus or Profinet. Are you? The IM151-8 can do that, but I´m afraid that the SIMATIC TDC CPU 551 is too old to get proper information about it. If there is no feedback to such an old product. try to contact Siemens directy. hope this helps, regards,
