your question doesn't show where you look at values, i expect on HMI. If this is that situation then problem is communcation timeout between HMI and PLC. Try play with refresh of TAgs on HMI cfg or similar problematic.

  in this times/era I'm very surprised about complex possibilities what people have, compared to my in beginnings of computers. Try look to my example TAG definition table and check there if you see something depended to refresh time of TAG defined. Hope now you can shot 10. Try play with that as I said in 3 posts. You can maybe need also play with visual cfg of TAG but I think you can now do that alone, hope...

ok then problem is not correct description of your problem (MOP asked you about this) but I must say from your first post, all is clear to me and understand to that, therefore you have my answers. Ok, so what you did in cfg and what results you have with my recommendations?.

If this is the most important thing then slow down the machine. 

The online mode can update data values few times per second on average. This is much slower than usually PLC cycle is running.

Calculate how many "counts" per second is coming from the encoder when machine moves at high speed. Then multiply it by the CPU cycle time/DP cycle time (whichever is longer) and you will roughly get real size of "gaps".

 really? With 1s refresh time by default you have every position on HMI, from your first post? Look pls again to my posts and then also to Jacek's, hope now all is clear to you.

You can not display fast pulses in HMI

You can not monitor fast pulses in the PLC

You can create a program in your PLC that can react to the pulses in realtime.

Hello,

if "target1" is close to "target2" will not include "action". Because the encoder does not show all the values.

For example, if target1 = 10 and target2 = 20, the encoder will sometimes not display a number between 10 and 20 and therefore will not include "action"

Maybe your encoder is broken? 

Or maybe simply "target1" and "target2" should be far away enough.
