I am connected via RS232/RS485 converter.When I try to change the length of the word, I received the following message: Value rejected, Parameter p2012[0] could not be set to this value. Theold value will take effectagain. Cause: Parameter p2012[0000]: Job cannot be executed because of the operating mode. P3 parameter i set to expert and the inverter is in ready.

Vithani Platinum Expert Joined: 7/8/2009 Last visit: 6/7/2025 Posts: 1977 Rating: (479)	metwally mustafa the drive should be inhibited and be in commsioning mode IF you check CSTATE - it shows CUT means parameter should be changeble in Comissioning/Ready/Running state I have 2 suggestion 1) remove communication cable (mostly USS communication is being done from Terminal 14/15) and then try to change parameter 2) Factory reset drive and recomission drive (make sure you have backup) Regards, Devesh Vithani

Hi is in ready not runing.. PISCEAN 2010 Hello, Then how start (run), stop & set point is applied to drive? Hello, Please answer how start, stop comands are applied & set point is fed to drive? Is this under commissioning? Simply you need to stop the inverter/drive, put P3 in expert mode & then try to change P2013 & P2013. Since you have mentioned you don't have any panel check the inverter wiring, by appling inverter stop comand you shall be able to change the comunication parameter.

Bogas Regular Member Joined: 5/10/2013 Last visit: 10/22/2024 Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	I do not have any signal connected. Just converter for 14 and 15 and have p3 = 3 (expert). The inverter mode is commisioning (r2 = 0). Control is to be the USS protocol with S7-1200 controller.
