king_1985 Posts: 109 Rating: (11)	Dear All Recently we are facing some problem in Simovert VC drive Its from our production line and line was in operation from last one year but recently in one drive, we noticed that during giving stop command, motor is not stopping directly, instead it goes to negetive a little bit and then being zero speed Please help me in this issue

I mean applying brake? if yes, how brake is controlled? - No we are not applying any brake Actually, this is happening in between operation. In this time we need zero speed of motor so we are giving zero reference but it goes negetive before going to zero At high speed, I tried a bit using delayingramp down and I got some good result but at lower speed we are still facing problem Right now I am not on Site so I will upload Parameter Backup tomorrow

I think this will help you in this

Please reply if this in not the case. Dear Shahid, he is not using negetive speed or torque or reference. He is giving zero value from some reference say from 50Hz. So during going to 50 to 0 drive is going some negetive say 50 to -3 and then 0 So disabling above will not work Regards Devesh

Well I am using Profibus communication so no question about that By the way Auto Tunning did work for me. Now everything is running as it should be My question is, why suddenly auto tunning is needed again? is it normal? or there is something wrong in drive Thank you very much Vithani for your instant help

I didnt got what you are trying to say I have this experience once with VC control at an (grundfoss?) inverter. Setup was done in summer at high temperature. Boost must be increased very high because of the application. In winter, very very cold, the motor starts turning backward at low speed.

May be in you location, +10°C is already very cold.. oh,, its not even +10°C we hardly go below 20 even here and in Summer its 40-45 normally
