Tiesto Posts: 14 Rating: (2)	Hi, Since the upgrade to WinCC Flexible 2007 i encountered some problems with my recent projects. Problems found: After download of project to a MP277 and some texts appear in bold and some in different character size.... another download 'fixed' it... later on it was back, switch of power sometimes solves it but then a new bug, my bitmaps (EMF) loose there transparency !? After changing a text property of a button it doesn't turn green when the linked bit changes, downloaded it to the second panel and there it works.... seems to be random. Closing project -> Error license missing (FFFFFF) Please install .... ? after that my complete HMI project is gone, whole day of work down the drain ?!After investigation of the HMIes directory it seems the main database file is still there. After recreation of an empty HMI station and some copying i was lucky to get things fixed. Also some displayed tags show zero while their linked values are not ! Deletetion of the IO-field solves it but for how long ? Offsets in faceplates can change to zero during runtime.... Copying object sometimes changes other objects ? good luck, Tiesto **************************************************************************************************** It seems Siemens has released a new HF that hopefully fixesthe experienced problems So i changed the headerof this post and will continu to use Flex2007. ****************************************************************************************************

Have you made a support request on this? For me the upgrade worked well, some 2005 problems are fixed and I am still happy. Good luck.

bowhunter Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	I agree... Oneproblem I see is that buttons will become visible when they are not suppose to. The only way I have found to correct this issue is to perform a "save as" with "reorganization (slow)". Then all works well but not for very long if you are making many changes to your project. The save as process must be done multiple times a day.I have lost considerable development time due to this. This is very frustrating...

Normally i quickly swap between Step7 and Flexible, while Flex is still working/proccessing changes? i used to continu with Step7 editing. It also helps to unselect the objects that you want to copy beforeyou use the paste-command. regards, Remark

bowhunter Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	We were able to get a copy of this hotfix from our local distributor within a couple of hours of requesting it. It seems to have fixed our problems, and the performance of flex seems tobe noticably better. Push back hard on your distributor, it is available.

I have downloaded it and tested it on aspare computer and it all seems to work well, the version is definitely updated to HF2.Why isn't this download available on the Siemens website? http://www.prikpagina.nl/read.php?f=656&i=2524&t=2524

Tiesto Posts: 14 Rating: (2)	Hi Smurf, I also received version 11/2007 and saw the same installation messages related to HF2. According tothe SUS-flyer documentreinstallation is NOT necessary and only the installation routines are revised !?
