Hello RBM The "DP ID" shows you(the first byte of) the Configuration Identifier value for the I/O module in that Slot. The value is displayed purely for your info, you do not need to "worry" about its value, nor do anything with it. These ID values are sent to the DP Slave as part of the "Check configuration" telegram which is sent to the DP Slave on bus startup (or after a Slave drops off the bus and comes healthy again), and this taken care of by the DP Master (as said before, you needn't worry about these values, this is pure additional info for your perusal).
