Dear All, can we replace 6ES7314-6CF01-0AB0 with 6ES7314-6CH04-0AB0 without making any changes in HW configuration? Thanks |

Sorry, not possible. The cpu can only be replaced (without changing hardware )by it's direct successor.6ES7314-6CF02-0AB0 Regards, Marcjan |

Hello Marcjan, I did this work in our Labelling machine and succeeded. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Please have a look at the attached photo. 6ES7313-5BE00-0AB0 " The CPU type in the HW Configuration" Successor product 6ES7313-5BE01-0AB0 Successor product 6ES7313-5BF03-0AB0 Successor product 6ES7313-5BG04-0AB0 " The existing CPU type in the actual rack" The Procedures: 1-Turn off the Power. 2-Remove the old CPU S7 313-5BE00-0AB0 3-Install the new CPU S7 313-5BG04-0AB0 4-Insert MMC in the new CPU 5-Turn on the Power. 6-Execute the Memory reset. The machine will be run without any problems. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

Hello Marcjan. It is possible in case the new CPU is a spare part compatible with the old CPU. It's not a rule to have a direct successor CPU to replace the old one without changing the HW configuration. All you have to know if the new part number is spare part compatible with the old one or not. Please check this link: |
