The Migration Tool is a TIA Portal Add-In consisting of a Migration Checker and an application that automatically implements the migration. When the Add-In is executed, existing program components are automatically transferred to a configured S7-1200 G2 for the user.

However, manual adaptation of some program blocks is necessary. The “Migration Guideline” document provides step-by-step instructions for implementing the manual tasks.

The explanatory video summarizes all the important points of the Migration Tool Add-In and the limitations it contains. In addition, the video provides assistance with the implementation, execution and interpretation of the results of the Migration Checker and Tool.
