You can create user constant on both the PLC and HMI for things like :
TODAY
YESTERDAY (or DAY-1)
DAY-2
..
DAY-59

And then you can reference array index values according to those user constants on the HMI.

However, you may want to create a faceplate (are you using comfort/adv panels, or basic panels??) to make binding those screen objects with FB Static objects (tags).

For example, FB_DAILY_PROD_CNT_HMI could be linked to corresponding page 1 HMI faceplate if that would make things any easier.  However, it may only help making a duplicate page 1 easier, which in this instance is not very useful.

However, single-use faceplates and corresponding single-instance FB's have certain advantages if your HMI layout and data structures can be configured to make configuring HMI object references more easily.

I am working on a project in TIA Portal where I need to track both hourly and daily production counts, and display them on an HMI.

My requirements are:

1. Two HMI pages
   • Page 1: Hourly production counts (24 hours of the current day).
   • Page 2: Daily production counts (up to 60 days).
2. Daily Production Counter
   • The daily product count should reset at midnight (00:00).
   • The current day’s product count should be displayed in the first I/O field (index 1) at the top of the HMI page.
   • Yesterday’s product count and its date should be shown in the second I/O field (index 2).
   • Up to 60 days of production history should be stored and displayed.
3. Hourly Production Counter
   • Each product detected by the sensor should increment the counter of the current hour.
   • An array of 24 elements is used to store the product counts for each hour of the day.
   • The values should update continuously so I can see how many products were produced each hour.

Current progress:

• I am already using R_TRIG to detect product cycles and increase the counters.
• At midnight, I shift the daily array and reset the counter for the new day.

What I need help with:

• How to correctly bind the arrays to HMI I/O fields so that today’s count is always in field 1, yesterday’s in field 2, etc.
• How to best visualize the hourly production counts on the HMI page.
• Any recommendations or example structures for handling both the 24-hour array and the 60-day array together.

I recommend downloading and studying sample Unified BASIC panel projects so you can see what can be done.

I have very little experience with unified panels (at least for any real projects).  Hopefully there are other forum users with the time and experience to suggest options.

You _can_ hard-map every single time and date HMI field on Screen 2 to the precise corresponding PLC DB tag.

If you are a .NET developer, you might consider using TIA Openness to help build your screens, or a lot of copy/paste/manually edit index values.

I have to show my lack of knowledge by asking.. is scripting available to Unified Basic panels?  I know in older basic panels, no scripting was available.  If scripts are available, you may be able to help populate Screen 2 using script(s).  But, again, my lack of knowledge is not going to help suggest _how_ since I have no clue what would be available.

I’m using a Unified Basic Panel. I’ve set up two arrays, DailyProductCount[1..60] and DailyProductDateTime[1..60]. My idea is to use a loop to shift the values so that at midnight the loop runs, yesterday’s value moves into the second element, and the current day’s product count and date go into the first element.

That way, the latest product count and date will always stay at the top, while the older values slide down into the next blocks I created.

But I’m still pretty new to this, so I’m not exactly sure how to make it work 🙂. An example or a step-by-step explanation would really help.

Unified Basic Panels do support Javascript like the Unified Comfort Panels.

so theoretically there should be all options for this available.
