for reading and writing you don't have to use Client AND Server. You can set a Parameter "Read/Write" to select what you want to do.

The Client is the active part (establishing Connection, request to MB Server) of a Modbus/TCP communication and the Server is the passive part.

Nice screenshot, but what's your question about it?

If S7 is MB Server: Port 502, Remote Parameters keep empty.

If S7 is MB Client: Port (usually >2000), Remote IP - IP from MB Server, Remote Port: 502.
