compatibility FM350-2 and CPU313C 6ES7313-5BF03-0AB0

g_barin Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	Hi all ! i have a cpu CPU313C 6ES7313-5BF03-0AB0 , all I/O on board is used , also the 3 internal counter . Now i need read 4 new incremental encoder . I am trying put a module FM350-2 . The hw configuration is ok , but i haven't sw comunication cpu - fm . I foud the DBX43.0 .CHECKBACK_SIGNALS.STS_GATE0 = false . If i change cpu ( i use an old cpu 6E37314-1AE04-0AB0 for test ) and i download the same sw blocks , the DBX43.0 .CHECKBACK_SIGNALS.STS_GATE0 = true , and i read the value of cunter 0 . is there any incompatibility cpu313C FM350-2 ? Thanks for reply ....

However the FM is configured diferently as a CPU internal high speed counter. In the link: Configuration Package for FM 350-2 Counter Modulehttp://support.automation.siemens.com/BR/view/en/28554065 you can download the SW package to use FM350-2. Itinstall theSW, library, examples, and Manuals. Take a look at the chapter 6. If you have any doubt tell us.

In the FM 350-2 manual it given that this module can be used with standard CPU's. But it not clear whether it can be used with compact CPUs. When i download program and Hw Confi. cpu goes to stop and SF on FM lits up and flashes. If anybody have any idea pl share with me. Thanks Amit

It retains the latest events happening in the CPU, including events that cause the Stop moide. You can have an idea of what has occured to cause the CPU failure.It could be the FM, but it could also be a hardware or programming issue that the CPU is complaining of. If you have trouble reading the contents of the Diagnostic Buffer, you can save it as text and post it here; we may be able to help you more then. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier

I hv checked CPU and FM types in HW catlog. Still it gives message type mismatch CPU???. From this data only i dought that whether compact CPU's support Fm 350-2 or not. Amit Kumar
