Hi,
I have CPU 315. When power fails and then restores then SF LED comes ON. PLC stays in RUN mode. Simocodes and power monitor connected on CPU DP port.
Some simocodes stays in General Fault due to trip conditions (Thermister). If the simocode fault is cleared then SF LED goes OFF.

Attached the diagnose file. Buffer mentions Rack failure during startup (03:20)
When the node faults (Simocode) are cleared (03:40) the SF LED goes OFF. Diagnostic buffer entry shows Hardware interrupt interrupt line 1.

Question is:
1. Does the SF LED turns ON if any node on DP port is in fault condition?

Check the following possibilities for SF and BF LEDs when a
CPU211X-2DP is used in DP master mode.

LEDs of the cpu 31x-2dp in DP master mode:

SF (OFF)--BUSF (OFF)
Normal


SF (On)--BUSF (On)
bus error
DP interface error


SF (On)--BUSF (blinking)
station failure


SF (On)--BUSF (OFF)
incorrect configuration

I am facing this problem in my CPU 315 2 PN/DP

SF (On)--BUSF (blinking)
station failure

I have connected  3 IM151 through profibus connection through series connection .

I am facing BF and SF fault in 2nd IM151 alone.  In this panel , I have connected 2 modbus module and 14 analog input module .

How to resolve this ?
