I had a question in calculating the maximum inhibit time for priority classes > 15 (TP15) for my system, and would be so grateful if anyone helps.

I use 2 CPU 417-4H as fail-safe redundant processors, and have some ET200M modules for my I/Os.

I used the excel file S7time.xls to compute the monitoring times (I use F-Library S7 F-System V1.3), but due to some vague points, I read many pages of manuals for that.

My questions are from  manual S7_400_h_en_en-US:

1. when calculating from the equation below, I got much bigger response than what calculated automatically by HW configration. does anyone here have experience working with this one? :

TP15 (DP master system) = TPTO - (2 x TTR + TWA + TPROG + TDP_UM + TSLAVE_UM)

2. for calculating T(P15_AWP), or T(P15_up), the formula below is declared.

TP15_AWP in ms = 0.7 x size of DBs in work memory in KB + 75

but the example shown in the attachment seems not to based on that equation.

any idea? or am I somehow wrong?
