Hello Daniel Chartier Sir, it is my mistake that i have not given complete details for that apology, but Sir now i have made a architecture to understand that what i need, actually no bill is available for available material because it is removed from another process years ago and now i want to upgrade this machine because it has old model s5 so i need complete replacement with s7 400 system now i have clearly define in the picture in attached pdf that i have no IM cards i dont want to use them so is that possible in that way in which i want to communicate as i have shown the profinet link green by not using IM cards what i need only to operate DO and receive DI card status of s7 400 family from rack no.2 and rack no.3 to main cpu rack (master rack) Attachments7 400 architecture.pdf (3 Downloads) |

Hello; I think I have deciphered the part number of the CP 443-1 you are using, from one of the earliers posts you published. When you are requesting help on the forum, part numbers are an extremely important information you must provide us with, since the capâcities of the modules evolves over time, and the modules you have might not be able to do the job. Am i correct that it is a 6GK7443-1EX11-0XE0 in your original picture? How about the other CP 443-1 that you would put in the remote racks, are they he same model? If this is the case, please open the file in the attachment below, it shows your data sheet for this model of CP 443-1. Notice that it states nowhere that it can handle Profinet exchanges. It cannot be a Profinet IO controller or a Profinet IO Device, that could allow you to read and write the DI and DO modules in your remote racks. The CP 443-1 you are trying to use was cancelled in 2009, which means that it is not even available as a spare part from Siemens, and that no documentation for it can be located on the siemens site (I had to search the web to locate that datasheet). It was never active when profinet was introduced, and cannot be used as a Proinet interface. Just for your information, the successor product for your CP 443-1, the 6ES7443-1EX31-0XE0, was able to act as a Profinet IO Controller, as per its datasheet. But it still could not be a Profinet IO Device... At this point, I have exhasusted the help I can provide to you on this project. If no one else on the forum steps up to add suggestions, I think that contacting Siemens techs through a Support Request would be your only choice. When you do so, provide them with a complete description of the system you want to build, including all part numbers for the CPU and CPs, if you want realistic answers. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier Attachment6GK7443-1EX11-0XE0.pdf (0 Downloads) |
