Kanag's Posts: 54 Rating: (2)	Hi Iam using CPU313C model 313-5BF03-0AB0 firmware V2.6.6. I have downloaded the program. There are some digital inputs active in the integrated DI module. But the same is notappearing in the Step7. If I see in the VAT table it is showing as Inactive. Software couldnt able to read the integrated IO status. There are some additional IO cards available next to integrated IO cards. The IO status (DI) of additional cards are reflecting in Step7. I am using Step7 V5.4 + SP3 + HF1. Is there any problem in the HW connection? Can anybody guide me in this regard? -Kanag

Aret Posts: 2348 Rating: (265)	After checking voltage (see rpevious post) try to do following: 1. Check frontconnector wiring. For I124.0 which pins do you connect? 2. Download HW 3. In HW config right click on module -> Monitor/Modify, then activate Monitor checkbox. 4. Alsocheckdiagnosticbuffer

Felipe Schauenburg Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	I am having the same problem with the same CPU. Did the check list here. Checked the supply voltage and signal voltage and both are OK at 24V. The logical adresses are correct, and so is the other HW configuration. Could there be any other possible reason for that to happen? Best regards. Felipe

Kanag's Posts: 54 Rating: (2)	Hi We have to give supply voltage to the CPU and also to all Integrated IO cards.If the supply voltage to IO cards is not there the input signal (DI) will indicate only in the card level i.e. only LED glows but the CPU cannot read the input. After giving the supply voltage to the CPU & IO cards the problem was solved. -Kanag
