i am working in a project but now i facing some problem with HSC Please give me suggestion for same.

one conveyor is there(Slip Ring Induction Motor of rating 400 KW,3.3kv,50Hz) now i want to count its rpm value using sensor. I got pulse to hsc now i move same value to MW. 

so my question is that how i can got rpm value from MW or HSC. Please guild me .

if possible please send me program. for your reference i am attache the my HSC program which i did.I am using CPU 1215/AC/DC/RYL

Did you enable the HSC in HW-configuration of your S7-1200? Did you set anything else in the configuration of the HSC that differs to the default-settings? After doing your settings you need to compile and load the device-configuration. Make a rigth-click on your PLC in the project tree and do this explicit for HW-configuration.

HW is already doing this for you. There are four types of counting or modes:

• Count
• Period
• Frequency
• Motion Control

How many pulses does your feedback device produce?

It it's a proximity switch producing one pulse per revolution then, as noted above set up the counter for frequency and multiply that by 60 to get RPM.

If it is an encoder with 2048 PPR and HSC set up for frequency then divide the frequency by 2048 and multiply by 60
