I have conveyor, which is working in safety area (behind protection fence). The conveyor have some sensors and stoppers. I plane to make the conveyor control block in Graph. When the operator needs to enter the safety area, he/she must make a request. When the request is placed, everything must stop. When the operator leaves the safety area, the production must continue. How is most profitable way to make this functionality? I plane to make input parameters (BOOL) “requestPause”. When requestPause=1, a temporal stop must take place in safety area. The functionality in Graph I plane to use: - For all actions, which can be safely interrupted: I will put “requestPause” as NC contact as first condition in interlock section (the action will be executed when requestPause=0) - For all transitions, which can be safely blocked: I will put “requestPause” as NC contact as first condition in transition section (the transition will be executed when requestPause=0) What is your opinion?
