Sinamics V20 Holding Brake

LeeoFab Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	I'm having issues with the parameterization of the retention brake. The inverter output only activates DO2 after a while and turns off before the deceleration ramp. I need the brake to release immediately when the motor is turned on and only activate the brake after the deceleration ramp when the motor is turned off. The current parameters are: P732 = 52.C P1215 = 1 P1216 = 1s P1217 = 1s

Even changing the parameters P1216 and P1217, the opening of the holding brake takes time, causing a failure in the inverter A501, but if when I bypass the brake it works normally

Have a look at setting of parameter p1080, because the drive accelerates to this value before the brake is opened, as shown in the attached picture of the previous post. In unfavorable conditions this could make the drive working against the closed brake.
